The Creighton Model System

The Creighton Model System (CrMS) is a scientifically developed standardized system to assist women and couples in understanding their fertility. CrMS uses a standardized observation technique and charting of biological markers (all external observations) that are essential to a woman’s health and fertility. Women will observe days of bleeding, mucus, and dry days with an observation routine that takes less than 30 seconds. These markers tell the woman or couple when they are naturally fertile and infertile to effectively use the model to either achieve or avoid pregnancy.

Adolescents and single women can also benefit from learning the CrMS, by helping them monitor their health and fertility to gain a deeper understanding of how their bodies work. With the help of a medical consultant, conditions such as: irregular or painful cycles, PMS, endometriosis, irregular or abnormal bleeding, polycystic ovarian disease, ovarian cysts, hormonal abnormalities, chronic discharges and other health problems can be diagnosed and treated without the use of the birth control pill.
